Revontuli Blanket
Aurora borealis is the enchanting natural phenomenon witnessed on Nordic night skies during wintertime. In Finnish we call this revontuli, fox’s fire. Folk stories tell us that the lights are caused by a mythical firefox flinging sparks from its twinkling tail. Our REVONTULI blanket draws inspiration from the fox’s magical fur.
A refined blend of mohair and wool wraps you in fabled softness and luxurious warmth. The natural sheen of mohair gives the throw a luminous finish akin to the firefox’s tail, elevating any interior.
Curl up into a snug bundle under the warmth of the blanket. REVONTULI is the perfect companion for cosy evenings by the fireplace. The blankets are woven in our own weaving mill in Lapua, Finland.
